    I went on vacation there last year and did an awesome zip line tour. It's a bit pricey but worth every penny. It's still one of my best vacation memories ever. We got a better price (about 40% off of the website's price) by booking through a vendor downtown after we got there rather than booking in advance or through the resort, but this could be a gamble if you have a specific day it needs to be or a larger group.     We had a great time on the Pirate Ship booze cruise! The food and entertainment was good (even if we did get poured on, the storm added to the effect of the show!)

    Take a boat trip to the private beaches. I have gone many times to Puerto Vallarta and I always go on a boat trip. I'm sure that if you buy a certain number they'll give you a discount.
