Affordable wedding hair and makeup

I'm getting married in May in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and am looking for someone to do hair and makeup for myself and 6 bridesmaids. The ceremony is on a Sunday in early afternoon, so I would need someone to come to my house since most salons don't open until 11 on Sundays. Everyone that I have found so far is just too expensive. I am considering doing at least my makeup on my own, but would like to see if anyone can suggest any affordable options. Thank you!

Do you have a Merle Norman in your area? I saw them at a bridal show and they said they do free make up trials (as many as you want), and charge $30 for day of. Not sure if they would come to you or not, you may have to go to the store. Another option is a a beauty school. We have a Paul Mitchell beauty school here and their prices were significantly less than some other salons for both hair and make up.

My hair/makeup stylists I booked are fairly reasonable -

Sunday will definitely be a tough sell. Depending on how early in the afternoon your ceremony is, you could try to book concurrent stylists at places like Avalon Spa in Deer Park. Beauty schools such as Empire have multiple locations, but I am having trouble finding their hours. Do you know if all your BM's are interested in professional hair and make-up? Maybe you won't have as high of a need as first thought. Although I have not used this agency personally, I have heard good things about them...... http://www.sharondanielsalon.com/bridal.html
