DH and I are looking into taking a little trip to Portugal, specifically Porto.  Any recommendations/must sees?

    We loved the medieval walled town of Obidos.  Don't forget to buy some of their cherry liquor.

    I would look into renting a car.  See some of the Douro valley, go wine tasting, maybe take a daytrip into Spain to see Santiago de Compostela.

    If you have time, don't miss Lisbon and Sintra.

    I second seeing Sintra. It's a tiny town with tons of castles in it, some different eras and in different styles. OMG it's such an amazing place! Definitely worth a dray trip!!! Lisbon was also beautiful.

    Make sure you eat lots of pastries while you're there, and drink lots of wine. Those are two things Portugal definitely does right.
