your own caterer?

i found a venue that if i rent off season is pretty do-able but the catering options are way too high. any places that allow your own caterers that you guys know of? specifically in or near milwaukee?

    In some cases, you're better off to work backwards - start with finding a caterer and asking them for venue recommendations.

    my soon 2b mother in law had her wedding in a hall that was basically a big room with a bar built in and had her own caterer (a friend of hers).  she said she spent i think 2000 for food and cake for 230 people. but idk about the place
