A friend of mine is having a destination wedding. I originally planned to go, but when push came to shove, it was more than I was comfortable spending and I had to decline.
Knowing I wasn't able to go, I gave a generous shower gift (at least it's more than I typically spend on a shower gift).
Now, everyone is abroad for the wedding and I'm wondering if etiquette states I send a wedding gift too? I would just send a check, which they would get when they return.
