How do I keep a coral & navy wedding from looking nautical?

The wedding will be in a church & the reception will also be indoors, but my fiancée thinks the colors are nautical.

I'm doing midnight blue with pops of coral as my wedding colors. I think the more you stay away from using white in the linens and patterns in the linens, the less nautical it will look. That's also why we decided to go with a really dark blue (midnight) instead of Navy. We thought it would be less nautical-looking that way.

Sorry for the delay, I just figured out how to access replies on this site. This great advice; I never thought about avoiding white but I definitely will now. I'm planning to add champagne/gold (hoping to choose a champagne dress) & lots of lace so it won't feel like we're on a ship! Thank you for your input.
