Vendor Cost

I liked the idea of a previous forum.... it would be great if everyone could post more recent reviews!!

Costs, Locations, and Reviews all in one. Feel free to list your vendors as you book them. Then once your wedding has past, please please please come back and add your reviews! (Also include a link to your bio if you have vendor reviews in there as well!)

    I agree.  I liked that thread.  I'll post what I've looked at so far:

    Glen Gables in Flushing.  
    Pros:  Convenient, all in one stop.  Ceremony & reception along with catering in one location.  Cost efficient, approx 125 people for $3500 for ceremony, reception & food.  Already decorated.  No setup or tear down.  They do it all.  Show up, get married, eat & leave.
    Cons:  Very dated, 1980's style.  Exterior in need of repairs, roof & fencing.  One caterer they use and no other caterers allowed.

    Pros:  Very affordable, $400 for a Saturday includes hall rental, tables, chairs, stage, bar area, mic & speakers.  Gorgeous hall which is perfect for someone looking for a more traditional place for a reception.  Very high ceilings with chandelier.  Tall windows.  Loft, table & chair area.   Seats 160ish.  
    Cons:  Parking lot is small, can use next door church parking lot.
