I absolutely appreciate welcome bags whenever I am staying at a hotel for weddings and will be doing them for my guests as well... I find the things I almost always utilize are the advil packets, bottled water and a snack of some sort post-wedding. I don't think they need to be fancy AT ALL - just a cute little colored paper bag that shows your thoughtfulness and items your guests might have forgotten and would like handy. I'm going to include a slip of paper including pertinent times/info - like when the shuttle leaves for the venue and brunch details for the next morning (usually held for out-of-town guests).
