4 Months to Go!!! Where's everyone with their planning?

This past year flew by in a wink of an eye. Can't believe that there's 4 months to go!!! Just curious to see where everyone is at with their planning. Here's where I a:

Ceremony/ Reception Venue - booked
Hair & MU - booked
Wedding Dress - Bought, First fitting - need to schedule alterations
Rehearsal Dinner Venue - booked
Pre-Cana - completed
DJ- booked
Photographer - booked
Videographer - not using
Ceremony Musicians - booked
Florist - DIY. Too early yet to reserve order
Hotel Rooms - blocked off
STD - sent
Invitations - bought, need to address
Cake - included with reception package
Bridesmaid dresses- waiting on 2 girls to order
Tuxes/ Suites - FI is getting fitted this week
Welcome Party - planned
Welcome Bags - just need to order
Transportation - booking today
Bridal Shower/ Rehearsal Dinner dresses - done
Ceremony Programs - Just need to print

Wow! Seems like some much has been accomplished. But there's so much more to do!!!

    Hair & MU - booked hair, MU still debating
    Wedding Dress - Bought, First fitting - dress needs hemmed and bustled
    Shoes: Bought!!!
    Rehearsal Dinner Venue - booked
    Pre-Marital Counseling - Done
    DJ- booked
    Photographer - booked and Engagement photos taken
    Videographer - booked
    Ceremony Musicians - using DJ
    Florist - DIY. and most are done
    Hotel Rooms - blocked off
    STD - sent
    Invitations - bought, need to address
    Cake - booked and tasting done
    Bridesmaid dresses- bought and received
    Tuxes/ Suites - purchased
    Welcome Party - not having one
    Transportation - done
    Bridal Shower/ Rehearsal Dinner dresses - done
    Ceremony Programs - Just need to print
    Honeymoon:  Passports received, booked and paid for Sandals Whitehouse
    Showers: Mom and Mom in law hosting separate ones and those are scheduled
    Decorations:  Half bought
    Favors:  Bought
    Accomodations for Dog:  Booked
     
    I feel like I have accomplished a lot!  I know there are a lot of little details yet to be completed.  Good luck @creato2304

    Knottie6174271! I totally forgot to cross off the Honeymoon booking!!! One of the most important steps. lol. 

    Thanks for reminding me to book accomodations for my fur babies :)

    Congrats to you both on what you've accomplished! What day are you getting married? I'm September 5th :)  

    Ceremony/ Reception Venue - booked
    Hair & MU - booked
    Wedding Dress - Bought, have to do fittings
    Rehearsal Dinner Venue - Working on this month!
    DJ- booked
    Photographer - booked
    Ceremony Musicians - DJ is doing ceremony music
    Florist - Booked-moms friend
    STD - Sent out in December
    Invitations - Need to buy these this month and hopefully send out late June/Early July
    Cake - included with reception package just need to schedule a cake tasting
    Bridesmaid dresses- Just came in last week and need to schedule fittings
    Tuxes/ Suits - Will be doing this month
    Transportation - Grooms mom and dad are handling
    Bridal Shower/ Rehearsal Dinner dresses - Working on finding the perfect dresses :)
    Ceremony Programs - Not sure if we are doing these yet
    Favors-Will be doing a DIY with my bridesmaids one night closer to the wedding
    Honeymoon-We are doing a cruise, we just need to book it

    Wedding Dress - Bought, got the call this week that the dress is in
    Shoes: not sure about
    Rehearsal Dinner Venue - booked

    Videographer - booked for ceremony....trying to decide if I want the reception taped have been told I will be sorry if I don't 
    Ceremony Musicians - using DJ
    Florist - ordered
    Hotel Rooms - blocked off

    Invitations - bought, looking for someone to address them
    Cake - doing the tasting Wed
    Bridesmaid dresses- picked out...will order in a few weeks (they are being custom made)

    Welcome Party - planned---along with a golf outing for the "guys" and wine tasting for the "ladies" 
    Transportation - done
    Bridal Shower/ Rehearsal Dinner dresses - shower dress ordered....not sure about rehearsal

    Honeymoon:  trying to workout timing
    Showers: cousin hosting one and bridesmaids are giving us a couples shower
    Decorations:  not really doing much...wedding outside....just flowers. Personalized napkins have been designed
    Favors:  order---still need to order labels
    Cat sitter has been booked. 

    I thought that I had a lot done but I am feeling like I am behind. We are selling my house and remodeling my FI's in the middle of this all.

    @creato2304 Gotta love our fur babies!!!  Ry (My large dog) is going to some kind of pet care place that has a swimming pool and stuff which hopefully she will enjoy!

    @Knottie31107983 September 5th also!!  On a farm in Johnstown, PA.

    Pre-Cana - we are doing premarital counseling at a center, we are half way done with the course

    Invitations - style is narrowed down, just need to actually do them and order

    I have a wedding planner and she has been great about telling me when things need to get done. So I am taking it one step at a time. I cannot believe it is so close! CRAZY!

    Pre-Cana - We're getting married by a JOP, we're meeting with her in July just to go over the ceremony
    DJ- booked
    Photographer - booked
    Videographer - not using
    Ceremony Musicians - Friend pressing play on Ipod - music chosen and ready
    Florist - DIY with fake flowers. Done!
    Hotel Rooms - not doing blocks, but I need to book our room
    STD - sent
    Invitations - Sent. Early I know, but we had them and people were hassling us so we just sent them.
    Cake - Booked
    Bridesmaid dresses- Ordered and arrived.
    Tuxes/ Suites - We bought all the men suits. Theyve all arrived and been mailed to the men for final fittings.
    Welcome Party - not having
    Welcome Bags - Not Having
    Transportation - Using my Brothers shiney collector car
    Bridal Shower/ Rehearsal Dinner dresses - wearing something out of my closet
    Ceremony Programs - Not doing
    Ceremony wording - Rough Draft created
    Favours - boxes assembled, need to be filled closer to date
    Alcohol - Table wine Bought, watching for beer and hard liqour to come on sale
    Honeymoon - Booked! Paris!!!!

    Basically we are done everything that we can do ahead of time, and now we just have some time sensitve stuff to do. We are having a 'destination wedding' (back in our home town where we grew up and our families still live) so we have a long weekend in July scheduled to get nitty details done: need to pick up licenses and insurance, have a hair trail, dress fitting, finalize ceremony with officiant, create day of timeline, seating chart. 

    Thats about it to be honest. We've been engaged for 14 months already so we've had plenty of time to pick away at things. I haven't got stressed out once yet, and the way its looking, I'll be laughing once September rolls around:)

    Ceremony/ Reception Venue - Booked.
    Hair & MU - I think I've finally decided on a salon, but still need to go for a trial and book.
    Wedding Dress - Bought. Will be going to first fitting in July.
    Rehearsal Dinner Venue - Haven't even thought about the rehearsal yet.
    Pre-Marital Counseling - Not doing.
    DJ- Booked.
    Photographer - Booked.
    Videographer - Not having one.
    Ceremony Musicians - Booked. (using the same dj as the reception)
    Florist - Will only be getting bouquets from a florist, and I still need to plan that.
    Hotel Rooms - Not doing hotel blocks, but we need to book our hotel for the night still.
    STD - Sent.
    Invitations - Bought and will be sending out at the end of June.
    Cake - Still need to sign contract, but we have it planned out.
    Bridesmaid dresses- My 3 BMs are picking out their own dresses. 1 has bought, other 2 haven't yet. (1 is pregnant so is waiting until after baby to start looking).
    Tuxes/ Suites - FI and his 2 GM will be renting. Everything is picked out and booked.
    Welcome Party - Not having.
    Welcome Bags -Not having.
    Transportation - Still need to decide on what we're doing.
    Bridal Shower/ Rehearsal Dinner dresses - Not having bridal shower, and haven't decided on rehearsal dinner yet.
    Showers: Not having any.
    Ceremony Programs - Not doing.
    Honeymoon:  Booked! Just taking a week road trip to Canmore/Banff, AB.
    Decorations: Half bought/planned, but still need to think about details.
    Favors: Will be doing a candy buffet instead of individual favors.

    Ceremony/ Reception Venue - booked
    Hair & MU - booked
    Wedding Dress - Bought, First fitting is Aug 8th to start alterations
    Rehearsal Dinner Venue - researched.  waiting for FIL's to book
    Pre-Cana - N/A-not getting married in a church.
    Band-booked
    Photographer - booked
    Videographer - not using
    Ceremony Musicians - N/A our band will cover this as well.
    Florist -booked.  Meeting on 7/1 to see sample centerpieces (we're doing half high/half low)
    Hotel Rooms - blocked off
    STD - sent
    Invitations - going shopping for these on 5/29.  Will be mailed out at the end of July
    Cake - booked
    Bridesmaid dresses- all 3 girls have ordered. They're wearing full length Bill Levkoff dresses.  Had them choose their own in silt chiffon fabric and chocolate brown color.  They all chose similar looking strapless, sweetheart neckline dresses in their budget.
    Tuxes/ Suites - FI has been fitted. Told GM and Dad to get fitted by 6/30.
    Welcome Party - N/A
    Welcome Bags - need to order from Etsy, but Mom has been picking up goodies for them.
    Transportation - booked
    Bridal Shower/ Rehearsal Dinner dresses - having 2 bridal showers (FMIL throwing one OOT for FI's side) so I did rent the runway for one dress, bought another white drew from J Crew.  Wearing a champagne colored dress that I already own for the RD

    I'm on Sept 12th!  I'm combining some lists here:


    Ceremony/ Reception Venue - booked
    Hair & MU - not booked, that's the next pressing thing I need to do
    Wedding Dress - Bought, but it doesn't arrive til July
    Rehearsal Dinner Venue - not sure if we're doing one.  We can't really afford it but nobody has offered to host it.  We only have one attendant each and a short ceremony though so not sure a formal rehearsal is totally necessary.
    Pre-Cana - what is this?
    DJ- meeting on Saturday to sign contracts and pay deposi
    Photographer - booked, engagement photos on Sunday
    Videographer - not using
    Ceremony Musicians - not using any
    Florist - DIY. Booked I guess, my pro florist aunt is doing them, we'll buy the flowers the day before.
    Hotel Rooms - need to send in my block contract
    STD - sent awhile back
    Invitations - MOH is in the middle of making them (she volunteered).  We finalized last Saturday
    Cake - Deposit paid to baker for cake and dessert table
    Bridesmaid dresses- Don't have any BMs, MOH and I will go shopping at some point, and just buy off the rack
    Tuxes/ Suites - Need to buy FI and BMs vests and shirts.
    Welcome Party - not having one
    Welcome Bags - not having any
    Transportation - not having any
    Bridal Shower/ Rehearsal Dinner dresses - just having a shower and may just wear something I have.
    Ceremony Programs - Not sure I'm doing any
    Honeymoon:  Not having one :(
    Showers: Mom and MOH are hosting one Aug 1.
    Decorations:  Mom is hand sewing bunting flags to hang across the width of the barn.  Need to buy twinkle lights and table cloths.  Mom is also making the table runners.
    Favors:  Need to buy the jars and labels (doing trailmix in jars)
