reception recommendations

Any recommendations on where to have a reception in RI?  Trying to stay pretty local, expecting around 100-150 people, wedding date is for September 3rd, 2016.

    What kind of venue are you interested in? Hotel? Country Club? Historic? There are hundreds of venues in RI, a little detail on what you're looking for can help us give you recs.  Budget?

    I would have recommended the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center but I just booked my wedding there for the same date, sorry! The Whispering Pines Conference Center in West Greenwich is really nice. I also love the Rosecliff Mansion in Newport and Blithewold Arboretum in Bristol but they're both a little pricey.

    We ended up booking newport vineyards in middletown with a guest list around 150.  They just opened up an indoor room there (the meadow room) which is absoletly stunning!
