I have gotten tired of the sour responses I get from people when I ask them how they are doing, and started saying: "what's going on, tell me something good!", or if the conversation starts to be Debbie Downer, "Tell me 3 good things" I like to give a definite number, so they will feel obligated to think about it.

I have had plenty of good work going on!
My Moms job has been steady!
The old car is still getting me around well!
