Shoes for Unique Colored Dress

Hey yall,

So I need a little help figuring out what color shoes to wear with my wedding dress. Just as some background, I'm a readhead with very fair skin, so when I went to try on dresses, the white/ivory dresses honestly washed me out and made me look more pale than I already am! There are 3 pictures....the color that I bought are the 2nd two pictures (the girl with the dark hair). The color is called Moscato, and it looked fantastic against my skin tone. I'm seriously obsessed, and I cannot wait to wear it.

However, I'm currently on the hunt for shoes, and I'm stumped as to what color would go well with the dress. My bridesmaids are wearing navy, if that helps at all. This cutesty wedding stuff definitely isn't my strong suit, so I need as much help as I can get! Also, I'm looking to wear flats (I don't want to be towering over him!), so feel free to send specific recommendations.

Beautiful dress! I would do a nude or gold shoe.

It looks like the lace may still be a cream or shade of ivory, so you could do a light shoe if you wanted. But, I agree with PP and would go either metallic neutral, or a bright color either like your BM or an accent color.

Gorgeous dress. I would go with a nude, ivory (as I think that is what the lace on it is), or a metallic such as gold.

It's a gorgeous gown and it'll suit you nicely! I agree with the rest, you can go nude, ivory or something completely different like a metallic!

Can't go wrong with a metallic shoe and since you want flats, check out end of summer clearance sales right now. You can probably find some cute metallic sandles or blinged out style ones. My advice, go for something that is comfortable and that you might be able to wear again. My biggest regret from my wedding is spending $70.00 on a pair of shoes that I will never wear again because they are bridal shoes. Yes I spent a lot more on my dress, but I don't normally spend a lot on shoes, so to spend that much on a pair that I'll never wear again (and you didn't see in photos), got to me.

That dress is beautiful and so is the color. I would go with a Gold shoe
