October 2015 Weddings

Happy ONE MONTH, 10/3/15-ers!

Holy crap.  I cannot believe we'll be getting married one MONTH from today.  These last few weeks have literally flown by.  I'm doing my best to schedule things so I'm not totally overextended with tasks the week before the wedding, and I've been "trimming the fat" a lot - just doing away with projects and details I thought would be awesome but I really don't have the time or energy for and don't actually affect the day.

I am SO excited but the feeling is weird - it's like I can't wait for the day to come, but I almost can't wait to be past it because I have a little anxiety about something going wrong.  At the same time I don't want this engagement to end, it's been so great!  SO MANY EMOTIONS!!  haha.  Hope you ladies are hanging in there and enjoying this final month!!

  • I have had the most boring week at work, I think I have done all I can do this week.. so it will be great for the next few weeks.. hoping that if I can finish up all the DIY this weekend, the main thing we will have to do is pick up tuxes, and set up the venue!

I am full of the same emotions, excited, anxious, tired, ready for it to be here and over with and on a beach!!

  • It's insane that in 30 days we will be married. I can't believe it! I have a meeting set up with my venue tomorrow morning to make sure they aren't canceling our venue on us so assuming that goes well we're going to be in good shape!
  • A few weeks ago I took the list of things left to do and divided them up week by week and have been following that since, except for a few snags with DIYs that I WILL get done this weekend. It's so crazy to think we're in the home stretch, but honestly at this point, I just want to be married!

I did the same thing, i have a to-to list for each week.. as luck would have it, i have a big horse show the weekend of the 19th and i think that whole week I will be able to get a little break from planning..

  • I have the exact same feelings! I have given some of my things I have left to my mom and FMIL. The last big thing I have to do is seating arrangement and cards, and a few tiny DIY projects. I did decide to DIY all of my flowers which has me both nervous and excited, but I have lots of help! Other stuff I just decided didn't really matter and scrapped them.

I can't believe how close we are!

I did the same thing too!  It is absolutely crazy how busy I've been these past couple of weeks.  I was working out almost every night after work last month and all of a sudden it's like I have to check something off the list every night.  I will be so glad once I have some of the bigger things done and can relax a little.  I am hoping that spreading things out by week will make it a little more manageable, as long as I don't procrastinate :)

I know, I am trying to pace myself, at this point I an done with all my DIY, and have things that cant be done until the 2-3 weeks in advance. so I am thinking it will be a nice break for the next couple of weeks.. (Our date is 10/10/15)
