Julianne's Bridal Alterations

I know it's been posted on here before, but has anyone had any more recent experiences with them? I'm in need of a corset back and bustle put in at a reasonable price. I wish theknot forums had the ability to arrange the results by post date after searching.

<div>I don't have personal experience with her yet but already have my dress appointments, along with my bridesmaids and both mothers. She was very nice over the phone.</div><div>
</div><div>I had searched through this forum when I began looking a couple of months ago and her name came up repeatedly (only person with multiple recommendations) Since I didn't have anyone else in mind I decided she was the best bet. </div><div>

  • I used Denise for my bridal gown alts and she does great work for an affordable price. She used to run a consignment shop as well, but now only does alts. She also did a BM dress for me when I was in my brother's wedding. Again I was very pleased. Highly recommend!

  • Thank you guys so much for responding. While searching through the site, I also noticed she was one of the only ones with multiple recommendations. Ya'll mentioned she doesn't have the shop anymore....how do I contact her? Does she do alts in the same city/area? On the shop website it said corset alt $50...david's bridal was charging $155! so I def want to go with someone cheaper that does quality work. Sorry for the rant, but yea, how do I find this bridal alterations goddess? lol

  • I also would reccomend Julianne's Bridal for alterations. I just had mine completed, she did my bustle (over bustle and a ballgown bustle d/t my dress being 2 different layers with 2 different fabrics), hemmed the front, and took in a little at the top. She also added a heart with fabric from one of my dad's old work shirts to the bottom, and she took my mom's old veil off the hat it was on, and put it on a comb. She only charged me $180. She does excellent work. She now works out of her house in Columbia Station.
Check out what I have left for sale...

    Thanks!!
  • Denise is awesome. She put some front bustles in my dress so that when I switch to lower heeled shoes I won't trip. I would never have even thought of that.
