Capdeboscq Catering Menu

I am getting married at Destrehan Plantation and their caterer is
Capdeboscq.  I live out of state and haven't had an opportunity to taste
any of their options.  I see a ton of great reviews but only a handful
of people have actually listed what they ordered.  Can anyone share
their experiences with this caterer including what they liked and didn't
like?  I appreciate it!

Thanks, Katie

We used them. The best things I remember were: Brie cups, crab patties, some kind of meat pie, and the bacon wrapped shrimp for appetizers. We had gumbo, jambalaya and vegetarian pastas for entrees. I don't remember them well since I didn't eat any til the next day but the guests all loved everything.

We supplied our own cake and cut out the carving station to negotiate costs.

They also customized a bar menu for us for two signature drinks, Abita bottles and two types of wine as opposed to the well liquor/keg setup they offered. The coffee station add on was very reasonable, and they also set up a go-cup station (at our request) for our second line immediately after the ceremony.

They are old school in some ways, but were extremely accommodating. If you have any guests with restrictions just make sure to spell it out for them, we had to have our DOC go to whole foods for our vegan guest meals.

I've used them for private parties before and the food is always very good.
