This boils my blood, I'm calling them excuses BECAUSE THEY ARE. If a friend or acquaintance of mine says they need help, I recommend help and do all I can to make sure they get it. If they don't get help and continue to chase their tail in circles time after time after time wondering why their life hasn't changed, I eventually peace out of their lives because most of them are just drama-seeking people at that point. Most of us have busy jobs and lives. I worked a stressful job with an average of 12-hour days five to six days a week, took care of a dying father and planned a wedding to my H while I was going to therapy for months. I magically still found time to go because MENTAL HEALTH IS IMPORTANT. "No time" is just an excuse, which you are prone to. Like I said before, if you can find the time to post online/play X-box games, watch TV shows, etc. you have time for therapy. But I'm beating a dead horse. I'm going to take my own advice and for my own mental health not post anymore with you. Good luck.

Yes, not clicking with the first therapist you find is a thing. But the rest of this IS just excuses. "the hours I work" - I worked the most untraditional hours ever and still found time to go to therapy. "How long it takes me to get home from work" - find a therapist closer to work than home, or somewhere in the middle.

You haven't found it because you haven't made the EFFORT to look. Things just don't HAPPEN - a therapist isn't just going to fall into your lap. You can do it, I promise. Instead of going home & playing XBox, you could be looking for a therapist that is convienient to work/home travel and has hours that work with your schedule. Make it a priority.

I currently only have a few minutes so I'm going to post pictures of my kitties for @GoldenPenguin and then later fully reply to everything. The bigger cat is Loki and the smaller one is Freya.
