Hobby Lobby Invitations?

Hi all!

I was just wondering if any of you have used the Hobby Lobby wedding invites they have. I have seen them every time I go to their store and I love how they look. I was just wondering what your opinion of those invites were if you have used them before.

Thank you ^_^

The success of these invitations are dependent on two things:  proper wording and the quality of your printer.  They are fine.  Hobby Lobby doesn't make them.  The only sell them.  You can also find some at office supply stores, Michael's,Target and Walmart.
We can help you with proper wording.

I bought mine at Party City. The brand was Wilton, they have templates you can download for wording. I used the template for the invitation wording and a quick Google search doe,rhe RSVP wording...I just didn't care for the options the template gave. Mine have to be assembled and anything with ribbons or bows will get smuched with being in the box. Mine are pretty. They weren't the ones I've been in love with but those aren't in the budget.

Yikes!  I checked their wording.  Some of their wording is terrible!  I do recommend their product, but NOT their wording!  What did you use?

What do you find objectionable about their wording?

A wedding invitation is a note from the hosts to the guests telling them who, what, when and where.  Asking someone to "share the joy" or "share in our happiness" isn't inviting them to anything, and can easily be misunderstood.  The phrase "celebration of marriage" suggests that the couple is already married and that this is just a party to celebrate, not a wedding.  I only looked at about eight of their suggestions, but I only saw one that was correct and easily understood.
Modern wording is OK, but it has to do the job.  Most of their suggested wordings failed to do this.
