Luxurious and Modern Vegas Wedding Venue Suggestions

OK so I'm looking to have my wedding in Vegas but I'm really big on decor, flowers, and nice ambiance. I've seen a lot of more casual restaurant weddings, and I'm not opposed to them, but I'm looking for a venue with wow factor, a touch of luxury and I want guests to feel like "wow I didn't know Vegas weddings were this nice". I hope that make sense. Also I'm open to off strip venues. I'm expecting 70 guests

I'm not sure what your budget is, but The Wynn and Mandarin Oriental may fit what you're looking for. They have some beautiful spaces.

Thanks! I did look into the Mandarin. They were a tad bit out of our budget. We were trying to stay at $20k for 50 to 60ppl.

You may want to look into The Platinum Hotel. I was talking with one of their coordinators for a while and she was very helpful.

I've also seen some posts about weddings in the Havana room at The Tropicana that look awesome.

Could look at doing an in-suite in the Stardust Suite at the Orleans too; it's a huge 60+ person room that's pretty modern.

Check out the Venetian! We had our wedding there on the terrace in October and were thrilled with the venue (our space held 50 guests, but they do have others), the coordinator (Heather Curt was the BEST!) and our reception across the courtyard at Bouchon. It was a great combination of Vegas fun and elegance!

Off strip the place that comes to mind is the Venue Downtown (http://thevenuesgroup.com/the-venue-las-vegas/).

On the strip The Wynn is the only place I can think that matches your description and your budget. But have you considered one of the clubs? They are expensive and require more decor but they look magnificent. Hyde at the Bellagio and Chateau at Paris are the two I've seen that might work for you. Bellagio is either $7,400 or $10,300 depending on the package. Chateau is $7500.

If you're looking for a restaurant that's a little "different" you can also check out Mastro's Ocean Club. They are in Crystal Center near Aria and have an area they call the Treehouse. It floats above the bottom floor of the shopping center. Absolutely gorgeous, very luxe, and the management is easy to deal with.
