Barn wedding on a budget

I'm trying to have the CHEAPEST wedding possible without getting married in my front yard (I honestly considered, but my fiancé said absolutely not) and have really been struggling to find somewhere nice and affordable. Any ideas??

    Where in the Hudson Valley are you located? What is your budget? How many people are you inviting? 

    You could get married in your yard, but you'd have to bring in everything - tables, chairs, plates, utensils, glasses, food trays, a tent. It would be a lot. 

    Have you looked into having a cocktail or cake and punch reception? Have you gotten quotes from any venues yet?
