Outdoor Location??-Low Budget

Hi everyone! I recently got engaged and we're looking for an outdoor, or unique indoor wedding venue (not the typical ballroom) within an hour of South Jersey (Cherry Hill). Our budget for the entire wedding is $18,000. Estimated 130-150 guests, June or September 2016. We're perfectly fine with doing a lot of DIY. 

Venues with wedding packages are fine, or just site rental locations because we know a good caterer that will give us a great price.

    Try looking at Gibson House in Evesham Twp.  The have a huge deck, so you could probably have cocktail hour and/or your ceremony out there.  You should be able to bring your own caterer.

    Not sure of their prices but also check out Lakeside Manor.  Valleybrook Golf Course would be able to accommodate a portion of your ceremony/reception outside as well.

    Also, look into your County Park system and/or your township's parks.  The Cooper River Boathouse should fit your parameters, but I think they have pre-approved caterers.

    Also, be prepared to find a different date, most of June & September 2016 will probably be booked.  Those are VERY popular months to get married.

    Check out Massos Catering. They have 3 different venues on their property. A log cabin, a ballroom, and a tent (that is permanent). Their ceremony location is a tree covered area with a gorgeous rock waterfall.
