Another marriage certificate question

We are getting married in Falmouth by a JP, but we live in Boston. Does anyone now if we need to get our certificate in Falmouth or can we get it up here and have the JP mail it in???

    You can get it in the town where you live and have the JP mail it in - but I would look into towns surrounding Boston, apparently the fee for obtaining a marriage certificate is not set by the state and varies by town.  Franklin was $25, but I think Boston is more than that...
