Wedding Invitations & Paper

Check my wording please!

I want to make sure my wording is correct for my invitations. FI and I are hosting. The ceremony will be held in a catholic church, we are not having a full mass. So here is what I have so far:

The honor of your presence is requested
at the marriage of
bb2016 full name
and
bb2016 FI full name
Friday, the seventeenth of June
two thousand sixteen
at seven o'clock
Catholic Church
123 Main Street
City, State

The reception will be held at a separate location. So I would need a separate card for this information correct? And nothing would be put on the invitation about the reception then?

Reception
Immediately following the ceremony
Venue name
456 Main Street
City, State (ZIP?)

Very nice!  Honor is traditionally spelled "honour" on wedding invitations, but it is no longer required.  No zip on the reception card.
If you are having a full mass, the wording can be different.

The honour of your presence is requested
    at the Nuptial Mass uniting
    Bride's Full Name
    and
    Groom's Full Name
in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony
    Day, date (etc.)

@CMGragain, the OP said she is not having a mass.  In this case, I believe she can just use wording inviting them to the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony?  I'm not 100% sure myself.  I have only attended full nuptial masses.
  • Oops! Didn't see that.  OP's wording is fine.  Never mind.

  • Thanks everyone!
