Not a huge amount of stuff this weekend. I was in a hugely crabby mood by the time I got home Friday, and I had missed Matt by 2mins {my bus passed him} He was going to a friend's place.

Saturday we were at his mum and step-dad's place, his step-dad needed computer help and had to pick stuff up. He'd been posting stating he wasn't well past week or so, but never realized how bad it was until we saw him. Dr's are waiting on tests, but asked him not to drive out of safety. He even said he's not up for driving anyways, he gets dizzy really quick.
It was a little freaky, because he's 6'8" so if he falls we cannot catch him!

That night Matt and I just watched Austin Powers - Goldmember and relaxed.

Sunday ... oh dear.
I was to meet a friend for coffee, she advises another friend is coming to. Uhm ... okay but I never see her, but whatever. Already irked.
So I go, and it's .... idk. Things are different and weird.
They apparently hang out more than I see either of them .... yes it's part jealousy but the other part it's like "do you guys not even fucking care I'm suppose to be your friend too?"
It's weird I know.

Anyways .... this week isn't too busy at home wise. Weather is finally suppose to get nice and later this week is going to be GORGEOUS! Hopefully also looking at houses next weekend also.

@southernpeach89 - I'm sorry to hear that there are a couple people that are ruining CF for you. Are they owners/coaches? If not, and you think other people might be bothered by what they are doing, maybe you can bring it to the attention of one of the owners/coaches? I'd hate for you to give it up because you are seriously kicking some ass there!

I left work early Friday and headed down to Richmond to see my sis+family. F+F were TERRIBLE in the car for the first two hours. Fritz was really the worst. He figured out how to jump over the little barrier between the front and back seats. He kept trying to stand in my lap, and would paw at my arm (which isn't great when your hand is on the steering wheel and it jerks you over to the side of the road). At one point, he even managed to turn the car off while we were driving 50 mph (in our car the ignition is in between the front seats). It was so stressful. I finally stopped to take them out for a little walk, and they seemed to calm down after that. Luckily the drive home was no problem at all. I think they were exhausted from a weekend with my niece and nephew.

We didn't do anything crazy in Richmond, so it was just nice and relaxing. I played lots of cards and drank lots of wine. When I got home, I did laundry and commenced the West Wing marathon that I started a couple weeks ago. It doesn't matter that I've seen every episode at least three times. I love that show.

Not much to update here. Didn't get the paint on the wall. I ended up working more Saturday than I anticipated. Didn't get as much laundry done as I wanted to. Kind of a weekend of ugh all around. H and I watched Star Wars Episode VII last night, so that was fun.

My weekend was so much fun! I bought my first car on Saturday! I feel like such an adult! I mean, I know I got married almost 6 months ago, which is a pretty adult thing to do, but buying a car feels even more adult-ish for some reason. I called the dealer my mom has used for 10 years now, and he gave me the car at cost and gave me more than my car is worth for trade-in. They were able to find a really nice APR for me too, and I had to do 0 negotiating. It was one of the easiest things I've ever done. So, without further ado, here is Sirius Blue:

It's so friggin fancy, I can't even. It automatically locks and unlocks, has the touch start engine, auto lights, rear and side cameras, dual control AC, Bluetooth, ApplePlay, SiriusXM, turbo engine... I feel like I'm driving a luxury car, not a Civic! I still can't believe this is my car!

Side eye note: When I told MIL via text about the new car, her response was, "Not quite a baby car, but I guess you have time for that haha"

So, after purchasing the car, we immediately drove it to Winstar, which is a casino on the Oklahoma-Texas border. Me, H, and two of our friends went there to see Nick Offerman do a show. The only picture I have of the trip is H and our friend post-pillow fight:

They are ridiculous. Anywho, we hung out, day drank, and gambled on the penny slots all afternoon. H was the big winner with $25, which is crazy awesome on penny slots. We should have played the higher stakes ones with his luck! The show was at 8, and it was so good! He titled it Full Bush, though none of the advertisements showed that hahahaha. Afterwards we hit up the buffet and then passed out around midnight.

We woke up Sunday, checked out, and grabbed a delicious breakfast at a Cracker Barrel in Texas. I then spent the rest of the day cuddling on the couch with Zoey and watching Parenthood. Zoey slept HARD the entire day. She was snoring! I'm also addicted to Parenthood. I teared up countless times while watching it. Thanks for the recommendation @southernpeach89!

Anywho, today will be a long day at work, and then @audrewuh is coming over to sew. Should be a fun night!

@cu97tiger Yea both of the bad apples are coaches. They aren't the owners but they will occasionally coach during the afternoon when I workout. DH is going to talk to the owners tomorrow because we have been there for a while and I told him that they need to know why we are leaving and maybe we aren't the only ones who are bothered by them.

Good morning
I'm glad everyone had such a nice time in Chicago. The surprise shower looks like it was super sweet.
My weekend was pretty meh, but slightly productive. Friday I did a whole lotta nothing that I can recall...I actually don't remember most of what happened to be honest. No, wasn't drinking, just have terrible short term memory lately. H started his new job, so my sister watched Noah. Bean and I went to pick him up, and ended up staying for dinner. It was nice to just sit on the couch at her house and not have to worry about much.

Saturday, we woke up to it snowing like crazy. I ran into Bean's room yelling at him to wake up and look. He sat up, looked outside, and said "No. Just no."
Later, we cleaned the living room and kitchen and rearranged a few things. We swept and cleaned the hard wood floors, and vacuumed the rugs, which actually made me feel really good. I think he knows how crappy I'm feeling lately, so he was super sweet and helpful and didn't suck his teeth or complain once. This is huge for a 13 year old lol. The rest of the day was spent catching all the way up on Shameless since I've been hooked on watching BB for the last several weeks. When H got home, we made dinner together and then watched the last 3 episodes of BB. I was kind of bummed with how a few things were left, like what happens to Jesse? What happens with Skylar, Holly, and Jr? I tend to get really attached to characters and want to know what happens next.

Anyhow...Sunday, I woke up to my period and spent the entire day on the couch with my heating pad. I did absolutely nothing all day long, except watch a couple of movies and took a short nap.

And now I remember Friday...

@beanbot2002 Ughhhh snow plus your period? HUGS! Also I've been catching up after being gone last week and I just want to give you the biggest hugs! I hope the therapy and seeing a psychiatrist help. I can't even imagine the pain you're still going through. It's ok to still mourn your mom, I don't anyone would ever just "get over it" and I'm so glad you're taking the time to talk to a professional about everything.

I started watching it yesterday! I'm not as invested in Saul as I am many of the other characters, but I loved Mike. I'm only on the 2nd episode...which I fell asleep in the middle of, so I have to go back and re-watch...I'm hoping there is more about Mike as it goes on. I did love they opened with Saul doing EXACTLY what he predicted at the end of BB. Also, the porn stash is something else.

Oh, well H bought me a full spa package for christmas a few years back. We had suffered 2 MC in less than a year, and I was having a rough go of it. He thought this would be nice.
The masseuse was a creeper, think fake tan, Miami beach kind of guy. Gold chain, polyester shirt unbuttoned at the top, etc. For the full 60 minutes, he thumped the top of my head with his junk, each time he moved his hands, and would follow each thump with "Thank you, Beanbot, Thank you" I tried creeping down the table, but he kept pulling me back up to the head. It was awful. I didn't tell H for almost a full year, because I didn't want to make him feel bad. lol

@beanbot2002 That is the creepiest massage story, I'm sorry that happened to you! I had a bad one recently where I actually pretended I was sick and got up and left because it was so bad- the guy was like shaking me and dragging his dry hands on me. Ugh.

Friday I worked out, had dinner, showered, started reading a new book and watched Glee until H came home. Then I fell asleep about an hour after he came home while he watched some documentary about Kurt Cobain- I never knew there was a theory that Courtney Love killed him.

Saturday I worked out and then we went to 2 open houses with our broker. The first one was OK but the whole first floor needed a lot of work and there wasn't even enough space for our couch. Too many projects so that was a no. The next one we knew the square footage was small but wanted to just see it for ourselves. Way way way too small and it was just bad. Also when we were in the basement our broker pointed out that the oil tank would need to be replaced asap because it was from 2005. Then a minute later the owner/broker came over and told us that it was brand new. Our guys was like ahh, nope it says 2005 and the other guy was just like "oh, really? looks great though right". What? So the search continues but we've only seen 3 houses so far.

Sunday I slept late, did a ton of laundry, worked out and went food shopping. I really wasn't feeling like cooking any of the food I had just bought so we ordered pizza for dinner and caught up on our shows.
And now I'm back at work

@southernpeach89 I'm sorry that it's the coaches that are making it so crappy. Hopefully talking to the owners may bring change.

@eilis1228 your car is so beautiful!! Im so excited that you got to spoil yourself with such a fancy car. You totally deserve something so pretty.

@labro I'm glad your vacation was so much fun! The wood fireplace looks amazeballs. There's something about a warm fire and a hot tub that just screams relaxing vacation.

@futuremrshistorian I'm glad you're getting out and doing things you love. Depression is so hard to manage when the key symptom is not wanting to do the things that will make it better.

Chicago was so fun!

I woke up early Thursday morning and caught my flight out without a hitch, even with an insanely long security line. I got to the rental after walking through the snow (SNOW!!) and relaxed for a bit before checking out one of the local breweries.

@TwoDimes and @AlPacina didn't meet up with me until...some time later. I was on drink 6 by then and the whole evening got fuzzy shortly after. @500days met up with us around midnight after an intense delay. We closed the bar down and walked home, eager to meet our friends the next day!

The four of us picked up the cupcakes and brownies before @minskat30 arrived and hid them in the closet in my room. We let the pregnant lady carry her own luggage up the three flights of stairs and then we headed out to Shedd Aquarium. @suzie211 and her LO met us there where we watched all the fish and turtles and anemones our $8 ticket allowed us access to.

@swazzle and @LizzyTish88 arrived seconds after our deep dish from Lou Malnatis. By now, my hangover had finally abated, so I could enjoy hanging out and sipping on grapefruit vodka for the rest of the night.

Saturday included @speakeasy14, boats, and buildings after @minskat30's shower.

And Chicago dogs.

That night we learned about the aforementioned uncut penis and blood farts. @500days and I were the last ones to bed at 5 am, which was totally a horrible life choice when I slept through all of my alarms and was late getting out the door for my early flight. I didn't even get to say goodbye to everyone. Or shower.

I got home and took a Master's long nap. H woke me up, I showered, finally, and then we watched Catastrophe before going to bed, where I still am as I type this.

Today im "working" from home. H and I are starting a new work out schedule and healthy eating habits today. At some point before I head over to @eilis1228's I need to get to the gym or go for a walk.
