OMG we have soooo much going on in May and I'm so excited for this month!

What are you most looking forward to in May?
-DH is getting a whole month off of school work starting tomorrow before Summer semester.
-More swim lessons with Callie
-Meeting @GoldenPenguin IRL!
-My 1st official Mother's Day!
-Annual Memorial Day party at the lake

Do you have any special plans/vacations/events this month?
-We are going out to brunch on Mother's Day!
-Getting to go to Wolf Mountain winery with @labro and have lunch!
-Memorial Day party at the end of the month!

How are you celebrating Mother's Day?
DH is taking me out to brunch Sunday morning and hopefully afterwards we will go see Mother's Day the movie. I also plan to snuggle Callie and just smell her all day long because she has made me the greatest gift of all which is being her mom!

What was your favorite part in April?
I would have to say Callie's first day of swim lessons! We had so much fun and she LOVED it so much!

What are your goals this month?
I need to get out and run more to prepare for the Peachtree this Summer.

What are you most looking forward to in May? School being out so work will slow down!

Do you have any special plans/vacations/events this month? H and I are going to my parent's condo at the beach next weekend for an extended 4/5 day stay! I'm also attending my cousin's wedding this month.

How are you celebrating Mother's Day? Mom and I are going to a sip and paint class. This is what we're painting ---

What was your favorite part in April? The days where it DIDN'T hail!!!

What are your goals this month? Continue eating healthy and working out.

Yay I love this!

What are you most looking forward to in May?
-Not having to drive to the extension campus where I do all of my teaching, since there are no classes for May.
-Seeing my niece and nephew again!

Do you have any special plans/vacations/events this month?
-My sister graduates from her master's program on May 14, so I'm driving to NC for that, and my dad is flying in from Oklahoma!!
-Also at the end of the month I'm headed to Virginia for a 3-week seminar.
How are you celebrating Mother's Day?

What was your favorite part in April?
-The part where I got to see both my sisters at once.

What are your goals this month?
-Draft 2 chapters of my book
-Be down to 20 pounds total weight loss by June 1. I have about 7 pounds to go, so it's totally doable, I just need to buckle down.
-Do ALL the yoga!

My kids' piano recital.
Baxter and Bella's joint birthday party.
A day off work (Memorial Day)

Attempting to cook for my mom and grandma. Most likely with a lot of help from H.

What are you most looking forward to in May?
Warm weather and sunny days!

Do you have any special plans/vacations/events this month?
I'll be married for 3 years on Wednesday which is crazy!
I'm going to my cousin's college graduation in VT in about 3 weeks.

How are you celebrating Mother's Day?
I'm not sure yet. My parents were going to come to my house Saturday to Sunday but it's up in the air depending on how my dad is feeling.

What was your favorite part in April?
Chicago was a blast!

What are your goals this month?
I want to lose 1 pound a week.

What are you most looking forward to in May?
There is nothing in particular that I am looking forward to. I wish there was. Actually, I am really looking forward to Captain America: Civil War. Hopefully seeing it Thursday night, if not then first thing Saturday morning.

Do you have any special plans/vacations/events this month?
-Mother's day
-My cousin's graduation from College/party
-BF's bday on the 31st.

How are you celebrating Mother's Day?
I'm not sure, have to check with my mom and BFs mom.

What was your favorite part in April?
Chicago hands down.

What are your goals this month?
I am checking my FitBit and really trying to get 250 steps per hour. I also have about two months to drop roughly 15 more pesky pounds which I'm not too sure I can do, but I will try.

What are you most looking forward to in May?
- A visit from @GoldenPenguin and her H!!!
- Braves vs. Phillies with tickets right behind fucking home plate!!!!

Do you have any special plans/vacations/events this month?
- During @GoldenPenguin 's visit we'll visit my favorite winery, go to a Braves game, and eat ALL THE DELICIOUS THINGS!
- My ILs are coming to visit for a week.
- Memorial Day BBQ at a lake house.

How are you celebrating Mother's Day?
- On Saturday I'm taking my mom for a pedicure and antique shopping and then on Mother's Day I plan to just spend the day with her and Callie, cook shrimp and grits for dinner and @southernpeach89 is helping me make this Strawberry Dream Cake for dessert!

What was your favorite part in April?
- Going to Asheville to celebrate H's 30th birthday!
What are your goals this month?
- Focus on WW, eating healthy and exercising
- Actually do my weekly weigh-ins
- Finish our bathroom project
- Finish building the retention wall in the front yard
- Swear less around my MIL when she visits.

What are you most looking forward to in May?

-Raj healing.

-Ani cooking some more...and wrapping things up for the nursery as well as all of our classes (CPR, Breastfeeding and Child Birthing classes are all done in 2 weeks!).

Do you have any special plans/vacations/events this month?

-My mom and sister are throwing me a baby shower next weekend about 45 minutes away from home. That is the extent of our plans (and especially travel) this month.

How are you celebrating Mother's Day?

-I'll get my mom a card, some flowers and a gift card likely...she is hard to shop for but loves shopping.

I get H's mom flowers every year and she laughs because she knows they are from me....H is terrible at remembering these things. Last year she (jokingly) told me to stop sending flowers and give her a grandchild. I teared up a little writing the note for her flower delivery...I signed it from H, me, Raj and Ani. For me, no idea. I think H might do something though because he asked about when it was over the weekend.

What was your favorite part in April?

-Chicago GTG. Hands down.

What are your goals this month?

-I can't make my gestating joke twice in a row I guess but its the truth. Also...help Raj recover, finish the nursery, finish classes, and get ready for Miss Thing!

What are you most looking forward to in May? DC this upcoming weekend! And Memorial Day because who doesn't love an extra day off?

Do you have any special plans/vacations/events this month? We are going to DC this upcoming weekend for a friend's wedding. I will hopefully get to see @cu97tiger and @beanbot2002! Also, I'm really looking forward to Mother's Day tea with my mom, aunt, and cousin, as well as a Rangers game with some friends.

How are you celebrating Mother's Day? My cousin and I are taking our moms to a fancy hotel for afternoon tea on the 15th. For MIL, I'm having Godiva delivered this week, and I'm assuming sometime soon we'll see them for a meal.

What was your favorite part in April? Buying a new car!!!!!!

What are your goals this month? Be consistent in my new 21-day strict diet and exercise, one weekend off for cheats, and then another 21 days on. I really want to get back into a healthy diet and gym routine, and I would love to lose some of the post-wedding weight I gained.

I also need to be really strict with a budget. I'm notorious for going over budget, and I really need to fix that.

@minskat30 Awwwww your MIL is definitely going to cry when she gets those flowers.

@labro Your May sounds epic!

@LizzyTish88 You can do it! 15 pounds in two months is doable, and you have been doing SO well with WW! You got this!

@Swazzle 3 years is amazing! Happy Anniversary! I think instead of leather, you should get a baby lion.

@CocoBellaF I love that you and your coworkers have so many bake offs. You make the most creative things. What are you thinking for the muffins?

H & I are meeting his mom & stepdad somewhere in Massachusetts/Connecticut for lunch on Sunday.

What was your favorite part in April?
My birthday weekend!! I got to spend it with my bestest frands

What are your goals this month?
Continue to eat better/lose weight (although my trip to Georgia might derail that, but we'll see), add in some exercise, walking the dogs every day (hopefully getting Bruschi to stop laying down in the middle of the road approximately 100 yards from home), continuing to do well & improve at work.

@labro The challenge that I committed to was 20 pounds by summer, which is June 20th. I have been losing but it's been very slow. So I have only lost really 5 since I started and have 15 left. I don't think I'll do it as it is really rapid, but I would like to lose some. BF and I were talking about it this weekend, I have lost everything from my knees down, and boobs up. My midsection is not shrinking at all and I want it to so I am going to switch up the exercises to hope that helps too.

I'll be attempting to run a half marathon, then having people over for mimosas and casserole.

No alcohol, no sweets, cut back on bread.

What are you most looking forward to in May? long weekend for Memorial day- H has the 3 day weekend with me, which never happens.

Do you have any special plans/vacations/events this month? No. My niece is turning 1 but I keep inquiring about a party and it sounds like nothing is in the works or will be thrown together last minute so we'll see about that.

How are you celebrating Mother's Day? Nothing. My mom lives 10 states away (and is an asshole) so I don't do anything for her. MIL is closeby but we basically hate her so nothing there lol

What was your favorite part in April? Eh, nothing really stands out besides visiting my grandparents and great nana's party.

What are your goals this month? Get some stuff done around the house. H is supposed to be doing closet shelving in the baby's room today. We also need to re-arrange the basement layout to make the "playroom" space, and put shelving in the garage. Those aren't critical but I'd still like them done sooner rather than later.

Passing my gestational diabetes test hopefully (it's on Weds), and getting H to commit to a name because I'm not one who can wait til the birth.

What are you most looking forward to in May? Warm weather! A couple days off work!

Do you have any special plans/vacations/events this month? Going to Charlotte for a beer fest next weekend.

How are you celebrating Mother's Day? Driving back from Charlotte.

What was your favorite part in April? My bday weekend, it was great.

What are your goals this month? Hopefully start putting in the patio in my back yard! Or at least make contact with a contractor to do it. I'm antsy to have a back patio and deal with the yard drainage issues!

What are you most looking forward to in May? One of my best friends is visiting with their fiancé and son for all of Memorial Day weekend. I'm not big into toddlers, but their kid is the coolest!

Do you have any special plans/vacations/events this month? Our housewarming BBQ at the end of the month. I've already got lots of people RSVP-ing yes!

My friend also wants to go out to strip clubs at the end of her first round of chemo as a pick-me-up before the second. I think it's going to be a hilarious time!

How are you celebrating Mother's Day? My BF's birthday, his mom's birthday, and Mother's Day are all typically within a week of each other, so this weekend we're going up to spend time with his family and give his mom her multiple cards and presents.

My mom got her present this last weekend, because two of my siblings were able to meet up with her and give her a pet portrait we had made of my two childhood dogs that passed away. It was finished before Snickers died, but she really seemed to be happy about it and not too sad.

Oh, and I bought her a little ceramic sign to send with her card that says "I love you with all my butt. I would say heart, but my butt is bigger."

What was your favorite part in April? Chicago was basically the most fun ever!

What are your goals this month? Drink tons of water, continue meal planning, and try to do at least 6/7 ToneItUp workouts each week. Additionally, have my house and yard in better shape than it's currently in before my BBQ.

What are you most looking forward to in May? Both my brother's wedding and Bean's final tournament of the year - both happening Memorial Day Weekend. Oh and tryouts for next year!!

@beanbot2002 Do you plan to just visit your mom or will you plant anything around her headstone? Something I love when we go to visit my grandma is doing work on the little mini-garden we have going around her and my grandfather's grave. We do a lot of annuals but we also maintain some small perennials. There's a little empty lantern there too that we'll leave notes at.

@labro We're not allowed to plant anything, but I'm gonna take some flowers and maybe a little decorative flag or something. Some other folks have put up those solar laterns, so I might try to get a nice decorative one.
Sunday will be a long ass day, Bean has a game out in Loudon, and mom is buried in Arlington, so it's a long trek between the two.

Donald is working all day Saturday, and Noah has not learned the art of sitting still in a restaurant, so I'm probably out for Saturday. Elijah has a game in Loudon on Sunday afternoon, right smack dab in the middle of the day
