Affordable and Not Cheesy DJ

Does anyone know of a reputable and affordable DJ who isn't super cheesy? I would like to have someone in charge of the music for fear of something going terribly wrong, and would like certain things announced like us as we enter the venue, first dance, etc. but without the super cheesy stuff. Any suggestions? Our taste in music is not traditional (indie, alternative, old school) and we'd also like someone who has a wide range of taste in music.

    We met with but did not book DJ Shawn.  He was reasonable and seemed really nice.  We would have booked him only we went for a company that has a lot of added services that a friend of mine used.

    We are looking at Rockstar Weddings for our DJ services. They seem pretty well priced, especially if you bundle services. I've had a few friends use them with great reviews.
