I usually carry some amount of cash in my wallet, but when I go to an event like a wedding, I usually bring a clutch which only has the essentials- ID, credit card, lipstick. No cash for weddings.
  • I rarely have cash. Right now, I think I have $2. I try to keep some on hand for when we go places where I'll need it, but that's rare. Usually I just run to the ATM if I know I'm going somewhere that needs cash or I just write a check. My wallet has a checkbook holder in it, so I am never without it.

I have $41.00 in my wallet right now which makes me feel like a baller since I never have cash.
I have $38, and $18 is ones...I feel like I am heading to the strip club instead of back from the cafeteria. Seriously, you have no fives or tens??
I used to get cash from the bank by my old job and I'd always ask for ones so I'd have something for the coke machine, or if traveling for tips. I'd always make some crack about not heading to the strip club because it looked really weird getting so many ones

That issue it's covered by my mom's love of the casino. I have nickles for days. I have them stacked on my desk on neat $0.75 towers. I just have to restrain myself to 1 per day!

  • I have $57.25, which is WAY more cash than I typically have on hand. I'm totally rollin' in it since I put my coworkers' takeout on my card and they gave me cash for their meals.  Paper for days!  haha
  • I've not been to a wedding where the main course was served without the couple, but if the contract says a time when dinner it's to be served, then I'd say it's on the couple to be on time. The venue could have holding temp issues with waiting, paying staff to stay longer, making sure the event concluded on time. Odd, yes - but I'd put it on the couple for putting photos before their guests.

Lately, I wish I had been to a wedding where dinner was started at the contract time. The last few weddings we've been to, it appears as though it is time to serve and the B+G are still out taking pictures.
