I was thinking this same thing. "Cuz" and "bitch" under @CMGragain's name really crack me up. Glad it's quoted, "cuz" you'll never see that anywhere else!

When I want to insult someone (It has been many years.) I use much more creative language. After teaching public school for many years, I know the schoolyard vocabulary. Downton Abbey's Dowager Countess of Grantham is more my style.

It was the OP who became defensive and rude, not any of us. When someone politely asks a question, we respond with honesty. (Your relatives won't do this. They will lie to you to avoid hurting your feelings.) You can post on The Knot and expect to get honest answers from ladies who are very knowledgeable about wedding planning. You may not like the answers. If you, in turn, respond in anger and become abusive, calling posters names and violating the TOS you agreed to when you sign up here, you can't expect to receive polite responses.
If you want honest answers to a question, go ahead and ask it. If you want validation for a bad idea, though, you will not find it here. One example of a bad idea is having a 17 month old BABY as a flower girl.

PS. Start a new thread for your question, please. This one has run its course.
