  @kimmiinthemitten I think your resignation letter is overall great, but I definitely agree with PPs that it just needs to be short and sweet. Assuming you get an exit interview, you can go more into detail then.

  I, too, got all my “knowledge” about diabetes from Stacy McGill in BSC. That’s also where I learned how babysitters were supposed to behave and I’d often tattle to my parents about sitters they hired that I didn’t think were up to snuff lol. I can’t wait for Babypants to be old enough to read these books!
  
  The hospital in our town (not the one I delivered at) offers a free drop-in breastfeeding support group. Since I’ve been pumping I’ve been curious as to how much Babypants takes in when she nurses (you weigh your baby at the beginning, feed and get any questions answered by the nurse, and then weigh at the end to see how much they’ve eaten) so I dropped in today. What a great experience!! I learned that Babypants is 8lbs 3oz and takes in 2oz when she nurses, and I also got a lot of questions/concerns addressed! I’m definitely going back at least once next week. 
  
  Other than that, SSDD. We had Hurricane Jose remnants today and it was windy and rainy but not terrible. I have a hair appointment tomorrow - my first since the little one was born. I was going to go by myself and have H hang out with her and feed her, but I have a few things I need him to do at home so I’m taking the baby with me so he can get stuff done for me. Hopefully my evil plan works lol.

  I've been traveling a lot the last month -for fun, but I'm ready to be home for a bit. We have lots of yard work to do this weekend and it is going to be HOT and HUMID! Yuck. That's what I get for playing too much. Have a great weekend everyone.

  @short+sassy @charlotte989875 things are good! My new job is ummmm interesting. Lol. I bet I can come up with some stories... Maybe not as crazy as the last place, but I've still got some! The position very stressful and not my cup of tea, really, but I'm going to put up with it for a while. I can transfer departments after I've worked there a year, so I think I can manage for another 6 months
  
  The hubs has been home since late May, and it's been awesome. He's leaving on October 15th to head back to his aerial surveying job for a half season. He is soooo close on his hours (only 200 short!) so we're hoping this is the last time. I'm actually looking forward to some alone time, actually. And an excuse to travel  
  
  Other than that, not much is new year! No babies or any major news to share, lol. I do plan to be popping in here much more often, though. It seems I've missed a lot!
