I've been obsessed with doing a lantern for a card box. Our reception is in a classic ballroom and our colors are silver, pewter, white and light blue. I picked out this white lantern, we just have to figure out how to place the word "Cards" on it so it looks elegant?

With the glass, you could also try etching--I've never done it, but looked into it for our wedding. You can buy a DIY kit at any craft store.

You could purchase a coordinating frame and stand it alongside the lantern....
or find a frame with a similar pattern to coordinate with the lantern.

Are you having escorts cards are? You could just add in one that matches that says “cards” and stand it in front.

I agree with Starmoon. We just had a basket in the corner, I chucked in the first couple myself and everyone figured it out.
