This is the only time those are acceptable.
I am married to an ultra-conservative engineer, who was kicking about clothes shopping at all! You should have seen the expression on his face when he saw this stuff! What do you call these suits?
My H wore one to the tackey christmas party. Sometimes people just do something because it makes them laugh.
OK. We are nerds who are into museums, science and historical sites. No sports for us, and we're aren't party hardy people, either. I won't be buying one of these. I still want to know what they are called.
I doubt they're called anything other than suits. Crazy suits? Funny suits? Novelty suits? They are a suit in that it's a matching jacket and pants, even if they're in weird patterns. At @MobKaz's link, if you scroll down to their instagram feed, there's a picture of a guy getting married in one!
This. A dress with a print on it isn't called anything other than a dress. Why does a printed suit need a different official title?
I know you're trying to play the "I'm old and stuffy and I don't understand all these new fangled things these young-uns are doing these days!" card, CMGr. But it's a suit, regardless of how much it makes you clutch your pearls.
Have any of you heard of Don Cherry?
