Great Cakes in Akron/Canton?

Hello all!

I am looking for a bakery in the Akron/Canton area that is reasonably priced but has really, really yummy cake. I'd like to have cupcakes instead of a traditional wedding cake. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Michael Angelo's Bakery is fantastic and has great prices!  There website is great because you can download there pricing guide with pictures.  When you go in they draw out your cake and give you a quote which they stick to no matter how much labor ends up going into the cake.

I was going to go with MichaelAngelos too but my reception is in Akron and they will charge a delivery fee ($50 I believe) to go out that far. i am going with Fishers Bakery on Fulton. they are delicious and beautiful! They charge a $30 delivery fee. I just met with them a couple of weeks ago. Prices are $14/dozen for standard cupcakes w/o filling.

I went and got a "tester" cake at a Massillon cake shop: The Boarding House. I honestly have had cake around the world and this cake was the moistest and tastiest of all the white cake/white icing cakes I've tasted. For 116 servings we are looking at $191. She also is going to design some of the extras I'm wanting to make our cake OURS. Since I'm not spending alot for just this cake, I'm suprising the groom with a grooms cake!
