I'm also a newbie here. I've always been a lurker over on the Kansas City board..but it's beginning to look like we'll be getting married next August in NY. I'm not sure if this is the correct board, but I thought I'd just go ahead and post. My FI is in the military and a West Point grad..so I believe that we'll be having our wedding and reception at West Point. I know NOTHING about the area..but I'd love suggestions (if this is the correct board, of course!) We'll need transporation (to/from train station for guests), lodging, photos, hair, etc.
