Can't believe it's finally here! January 1, 2013! Most of the far away guests have arrived, my house is full and so are a few hotel rooms. We've had Christmas/wedding gifts for the last two nights. I cooked a great Christmas dinner last night and we have plenty of leftovers from the last couple days to pack in the trailer to take with us. Lots still to do but many hands to help. Desserts to make, cupcakes to frost, tablecloths to iron, a venue to decorate, a trailer to pack, pets to plan for and so on. Sadly had to give up my plans of a seating chart because it was causing too much stress with unknown factors. If people bring others along or spouses decide not to come, they'll just have to work out seating themselves. Thankfully it's not a sit down dinner and just a dessert reception so food isn't an issue. There is still a lot to do but lots of willing hands so I'm really not stressed. I think it will all get done! So excited!
