Gifts for Deacon and Readers

I feel kind of at a loss. I have no idea what to get our Deacon as a thank you, nor our readers.. Any and all suggestions will be welcomed.

    I'd recommend calling the church secretary for insight on what the Deacon might like or what is typically given!  They would likely know what his favorite restaurants, hobbies, favorite charities, etc. would be.  For our deacon, we bought him a gift card to his favorite bookstore, made a donation to his preferred charity and had a mass offered for him at my family parish.

    For our readers, we got them personal gifts based on their interests and had masses offered for them as well at my family parish.
