Any idea for the father daughter dance? Looking for something that hasn't been played at 10000000 other weddings and not I LOVED HER FIRST or MY LITTLE GIRL!!

    "Butterfly Kisses" - Bob Carlisle, I think (it's a little old but it used to be played a LOT at weddings)

    Also, Google popped up this website that has sound bytes you might use to figure out what you want to use as well:

    I'm doing 'Daughter of Mine' by Jon McDermott. I've never heard it at weddings but it's really nice.

    My friend's father picked "Before the next teardrop falls"  It is an old country song.  It includes the line I will be there before the next teardrop falls and he had the entire room in tears of joy with him.

    I've narrowed it down to 2...

    Daughter by Loudon Wainwright
    or
    Sweet Pea by Amos Lee

    They definitely aren't the typical father/daughter dance songs, but I like them because they don't evoke a bazillion tears every time you hear them, but they're still sweet :)

    My dad and I are dancing to the first verse of "the circle game" by joni mitchell and so we don't end up crying the whole way through it is being blended into "all you need is love" by the beatles. we're also walking down the aisle to a slower guitar version of 'all you need is love'- it's one of the things I'm very excited about!! :)

    I'm not sure if you are a Country Fan.
    But, I agree with you. I do not want music at my wedding that has been played a million times!

    I am getting married September 8, 2012. I am dancing with my father to
    "It Won't Be Like This For Long" By Darius Rucker. He wrote the song for his daughter.
