I went for my hair and makeup trial today.  Here are some pics! Sorry about the sideways one and ignore my hair in the closeup makeup shots.  I had already pulled the hair back in a ponytail.

    Thanks!  I'm getting my hair/makeup done at Ray of Light in Prospect Park, PA (I'm all over the place...live in Annapolis, wedding in Wilmington, hair in PA!).

    I really like the color palette.  For the pics with your eyes closed-it looks like there might be either a crease or needs blended. IMO you might want to ask her to correct it in case any of your pics have your eyes closed or you looking downwards.

    The lip color is beautiful!

    Love it!!!  As to what Santorini said... did they use an eyeshadow primer?  It would have been a creamlike product on your lids before putting shadow on.  If they didn't, I would ask that they absolutely put an eyeshadow primer on.  And if they don't have one, I would definitely pick one up.  It's going to make a big difference.  I like Urban Decay's primer potion and I also like Benefit's Stay Don't Stray.  Both of those can be used with any brand of eyeshadow.

    Thanks!  And yes, they used the primer.  I never wear makeup and I let her know that, and she was great about telling me each and every thing she was putting on and what it was for.

    Thanks!  It's MAC Viva Glam V.

    I'm heading out to the mall tonight to hopefully pick up my own to have for touchups during the day.  Hopefully they have that color at Nordstrom.
