DJ for Small Lunch Reception?

Hi!

I just wanted to get some advice on if a DJ for a lunch reception would be necessary...? We were thinking of just renting speakers and doing the music via iPod. What do you all think? We're only having about 30-40 guests.

Thanks in advance for your opinions! Smile

I think you could do an ipod. Just make sure that there is someone that can watch it

you can made a pre-made play list on the ipod and you wont even need anybody to watch it. i would rent a mic though in case anybody wants to speak or make any toasts. i think not getting a DJ means you can afford to spend that much more for the wedding! (i have been pinching EVERY penny!!)
