  I'd also eat ice cream at ANY time, so the time isn't really an issue to me.  I'm also confused about when you're presenting it...are you wanting to do it after the rehearsal dinner or during/after the reception?  I personally wouldn't do it after the rehearsal dinner...I think people would be less likely to stick around then, but would be more likely to be present during/after the reception.  Like I said, I'm confused on when you're actually doing it...
