How's everybody doing with current/upcoming checks?

I posted in a previous posting I had 3 DIY projects...happy to say one is down, 2 to go!  Tackled the seating plan and floor map for tables last night, 1 hour, done, lol.  Have to hang onto it for a couple of weeks and the decorator will review it for me for final printing.

Tomorrow:

get marriage license 9:30 AM
hair consult for extensions 11 AM
decorator meeting and final payment  12 PM
dj meeting and final payment 1 PM

I might ask my niece (bridesmaid) if she'd like to help with the favours tonight.  She's a kid, she wants to help so this is something she and I can do together :)  Just have to get more double sided tape.

tackle this Sunday night hopefully - printing of church programs

    We're completely done.  Have been for 2 weeks now.  Feels great to be done!  :)

    We're done w/most things. Have to still pick up dress a few days prior as well as tuxes.
    We have all RSVPs and have been working on the seating - not done yet, nor are the escort cards.
      still need something nice to decorate the front pews. Any suggestions? I wanted to do flowers in cones but haven't found the right materials so far.

    I've seen pics of flowers in cones, very nice.  I have also seen pics of tin containers with flowers, again, nice.  Wheat tied with ribbon to the pews.  Clumps of fake hydrangrea, etc

    I have some very tiny final things to complete, but we are done and everything is down in CT (we're in Boston).

    I'm almost done! The only big things I need to do are:

    1. Pay a few more vendors
    2. Escort cards, seating chart is done
    3. Take my dress in to be cleaned/steamed next week
    4. Hair consult next week
    5. Make a list of what should be done with all of the ceremony/reception stuff (I'm a control freak and a little OCD)
    6. Send the whole WP the itinerary for the whole weekend

    I am feeling MUCH better about the wedding in 16 days!

    I still have a few things to do.  Important stuff: meet with officiant (but planning to call her and run over a few things), meet with dj and give song list and cd, finalize things with photographer/florist/caterer. 
    DIY left to do:
    Escort cards
    Programs
    Canby buffet signs
    Personlaize toasting flutes
    get bms tanks
    get getting ready tank dress
    work on vows, music song list

    Also have to get favor items, votives and cocktail hour stuff.... plus I am choreogrpahing our dance number and so gotta get than down.  Loads to do.... *whew*
