Beach Wedding CA State Park? What do I need?

Hello....I am getting married on a beach next July along the Central Coast.....We really like Garrapata State Beach and Pfeiffer State Beach in Big Sur and were wondering if anyone knew what I need to do about getting a marriage permit or something there?  I called the dept, but nobody is ever there.....Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

    You can check with your local coastal commission for more information. Each park is also run by state rangers-- that said, they are govenment employees and working for the gov't formerly myself, I can attest to how snail's pace ppl are. It's though, but there may be a designated person there that handles events. I hope this helps, good luck!
