Dry Cleaning

Has anyone tried a really great and affordable dry cleaners for their gown? I purchased a sample dress so I want to clean it and wear it- not looking for cleaners for purposes of preservation.

    During my reception some red wine got spilled on my dress. I took it back to Ellie's Bridal (where I bought it) and got it dry-cleaned (not preserved) after my wedding -- looked good as new! Not sure what your definition of affordable is, but if I remember correctly it was like $100ish?

    Try Imperial Gown Preservation out of Silver Spring, MD, they PROFESSIONALLY clean wedding gowns and can preserve or repair them if you want them to.  They have been around for many years and clean the 1st ladies gowns at the Smithsonian Museums, so they have to be good!  You can google them for their telephone number.  Hope this helps you out.
