EMERGENCY! Officiant in Lafayette!

Hi girls,

I am in a wedding in August (August 14th to be exact) and her officiant just backed out on her!  She needs a new officiant who is available on August 14th.  She wants a non-denominational ceremony.  She has called a few places, but I would appreciate any reccommendations you may have!  Thanks in advance!

I'd check with some of the judges in the courthouse.  I don't know if they would travel far, but it couldn't hurt to ask!  Also, if you know any lawyers, a judge can make a lawyer a "judge for a day" and then they can be the officiant.

There is a list of JOPs on the county clerk's office website. I'm sure you could call them for a list also.  I'm getting married in Tippecanoe County and had a friend get ordained online to perform the ceremony. The clerks office said that was perfectly fine and there would be no issues with the friend performing the ceremony.  Good luck!
