Lavender seeds at church?

I've been thinking about doing Lavender seeds at the church in lieu of rice or bubbles.

Anyone have any experience with these? I've heard they are difficult to pull out of one's hair etc but not sure?

A lot of people are allergic to lavender so I wouln't do it.
