But on the off chance I'm wrong...if she has a beautiful home without centerpiece ornaments, wouldn't that suggest she doesn't like or want centerpiece ornaments?
Personally, I appreciate unique gifts like the glass art in the link, but it isn't for everyone. Some of my favorite gifts when H and I got married came from off-registry and I absolutely cherish them. With that said, unless you know her well and KNOW that she's kind of that person too I wouldn't go for something so expensive and unique.
THIS WEEK SUCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKSSSSSSSSSSSS! TODAY SUCKKKKKSSSSSSSSSSS! I will be back to play next week.
In the meantime, I hope everyone has an awesome weekend! I'll be lurking and love-titting!
@speakeasy14 Ugh, alterations suck! I hope it isn't costing you too much money to get all this done.
Today is Callie's FIRST birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look at how much this face has changed in a year!
I just can't believe my little niece is officially a one year old! Time has seriously flown by and it's amazing how she has developed into this little person. Tonight we're all going to meet up and get the birthday girl some ice cream. I'm so happy, I don't know what I would've done if we hadn't arranged something small on her actual birthday.
Also Black Forest Cake is German.
Have you ever heard of kasespatzle?
It's basically German mac n cheese. With fried onions.
@PamBeesly524 But spaetzle = noodles? Who doesn't like noodles with some brown gravy.
And dumplings? Who doesn't like potatoes?
Schnitzel = delicious tender fried pork chops! Even better with a little squirt of lemon or some brown gravy and mushrooms!
I mean, so not everyone is a big fan of red cabbage...but it's cooked in vinegar and so so yummy. But I won't judge for that.
And currywurst!!!!!!! Do you like curry? Do you like bratwurst? BahBAHM! Deliciousness all in one!
