     I second Ventura's. I am a 16 in street clothes and ended up buying my dress in an 18. Ventura's has a whole room of plus size samples to try on. I don't think you would be disappointed.

     I'm not sure where you live, but I went to Trudy's in Campbell and I was dreading it because I thought they wouldn't have anything in my size to try on. But they had a good selection of plus size dresses and it was a very pleasant experience. So, if you're in the San Jose area, I would highly recommend Trudy's.

     Simon's in Dover had a good selection of plus sized. When all was said and done, I ordered a 16. While you can try on smaller sizes (10 & 12s) I Found that it is much easier to get a good idea of what the dress will actually look like on you when it was a bit closer to your size.      Have you tried Kotsovos? They carry a full line of plus size dresses. Its where my sister went and she was treated so well! Bridal and Formal was great too and they didnt zip, but they clipped so you could see the dress on.
