I booked a weekend in Chicago to see my (now) finance, Nick. His parents paid for it and when I got there, he already had a plan in mind. He took me for a whole Saturday to shop along Magnificant Mile and dinner in Downtown Chicago, with a sunset walk along Navy Pier (my favorite spot!) He couldn't of planned it more…

Hello, I live in Southwest Michigan and I am looking to rent a private residence with enough land to post a tent. It would be great if I could find a private residence in the Holland-area or even closer to Detroit. Does anyone have any idea of where I can look or where they have had/attended weddings?

Its not Lake Michigan, but Greencrest Manor in battle Creek is beautiful. Its a B&B, so would work as a destination-type location. Its also right on St Marys Lake. If you really want Lake Michigan, look around South Haven, or maybe up around Traverse City.

Check out A-Ga-Ming Golf Resort in Kewadin. Awesome view of Torch Lake without the Lake Michigan price tag!
