My fiance and I just had our engagement/save the date shoot on Sunday in New York. We had been having trouble with the photographer we chosen, she was so unprofessional. She wasn't returning our phone calls and wasn't being very helpful. So I went to WeddingWire.com in search of a new photographer and I found the wonderful Pavel Shpak. http://pavelshpakphotography.com Long story short Pavel is amazing! He gave us guidance on poses, he was in the cold providing so many creative ideas etc. He took our photos Sunday at 3 PM and I was able to select the photos that I wanted by noon Monday and I had them back edited and gorgeous by 3 PM Monday afternoon!! so now his cousin who is married to his best friend since childhood isnt coming to the wedding. claiming broke. but i know this isnt the real reason. the real reason is because she is best friends with his mother and sister and all they do is sit around dogging FI and how he chooses to raise his child. He has stopped dealing with them altogether. So now his cousin isnt going to come. The F'd up part is we planned the date specifically for this cousin to be sure she could come. Not only did she not RSVP, she didnt even call my FI, she put her husband up to breaking the news. and her husband didnt break the news til he was asked. I feel so bad for my FI, everyone he thought cared for his is doggin him. But he isnt realizing that his true friends always have his back. ex- a guy he works with and who is a casual friend, saw us in the mall the other day buying matching sets of cologne, he paid for them as our wedding gift. he didnt have to do that but he did because he is a good friend to FI. I dont think he realizes that the people who are closest to him arent always your best "friends"

I had a dream that my Grandmother that has been deceased for 30 years said she was going to be at my wedding, gave me a credit card and told me to go find her a Pink or Purple suit to wear. "Dont matter which color just make sure I have something to wear". I went to go get the suite and was trying to contact my coordinator to let her know that my Grandmother was going to be there and to make sure her name was on the program and she had a corsage.

I know my Grandmother is happy for me and she will be there for me in sprit.

Bridesmaid Dress - Check!!! (Again)

I posted a week or so ago about my DB BM dress drama. Well my girls are so awesome and just decided to purchase another gown. I am paying for their shoes and to have their makeup professionally done to say "thank you".

Anyway, the color drama is over. The girls went with a Jim Hjelm dress in Chocolate, the deep Chocolate I wanted. I love it and they do too. Phew...glad that is over and done with. Yabba-Dabba Doo!!

This weekend was my Bridal Shower & Bachelorette Party and it was absolutely AMAZING!!! My girls did such a great job!!! I love them :D There was soooo much love. I laughed until I cried and just really enjoyed myself all weekend. I got enough lingerie for the honeymoon and the 1st week back too lol. 4 More Days til iDo!!!!!

I got my dress out of layaway yesterdat!! The whole time it was there i had been second uiessing myself, wondering if I made the right choice on my dress, I been a nervous wreck about it. OMG...when I got it yesterday and took it to my mom's house it brought tears to my eyes. It is so beautiful. My mom even teared up. I didn't take her with me when I went because she can be too opinionated at times and I didn't need her in my ear when I went dress shopping. I cant wait to get the corset put in it and wear it on my big day.

Sorry to bother you ladies again ok so I moved the date and things were cool so I start calling about room blocks and the hotels a 244 a night ?!!! Please.. So I ask about other weekends and its 89 the weekend after ... The reason its high is because of NASCAR .... Really NASCAR ... So with that being said should I change the date to the next weekend? The 23rd ... The only thing is its the week before thanksgiving .... Any advice is appreciated

FI is a 13. His fingers are fat, even the jeweler was like sheesh you got some big fingers lol. I've been looking online for a great deal, which I'm finding just not in his size. We have some white gold bands but I wanted to get him a second one, preferably black or black and silver.
