But she is having a big wedding to please her groom. what I am trying to do is make her excited about it. I feel horrible that she isn't having any fun planning her wedding and I am trying to help. They also have next to no money for anything other than the venue and dinner....so I am trying to DIY everything for her...I am doing her hair, her make up, I am altering her dress for her, I am making additions to her wedding shoes, I am making paper music flowers for the wedding....AHHHHHHHH!!! I am one busy bridesmaid.....does anyone know 1...how to make a huge wedding seem intimate on a dime budget? and 2- does anyone know of any kind of bride swap meet or anything like that where we could get free wedding decor from...I am craft and can change almost anything. please help if you can

hi everyone!
so i need some advice for wedding colours. all my life i had wanted to have champagne as one of my wedding colours. after going back and forth.....and back and forth, and then back and forth again, i have decided on a group of colours i like and i don't know which 3 to choose (i think anything more than 3 colours FOR ME is too much to handle) the colour options are:
-gold
-teal (the darker one not the lighter one)
-dark gray
-aubergine a.k.a. eggplant purple
and a little damask or buroque and bling :)

my ceremony is in the tent of the royal ambassador and i am trying to envision what the very white room will look like with table cloths of either teal or champagne with a nice damask or baroque pattern. of course the centerprices will be in the other chosen colours

unfortuately my fiance does not like aubergine that much and i can only use it as a small component.

i wanted to know what 3 colours from my choice you would choose and why

my wedding is an outdoor ceremony in a gazebo, tented reception, sept 1 2013. my fiance and i are urban chic but like the outdoors too. the wedding theme is definitrly not rustic but at the same time, we don't want it to me too dark and heavy on the colours.

thanks everyone!!

Ok, I'm looking to buy a new swim suit but I generally buy the cheap brands. I'm looking for something of really good quality in hopes the good quality is more flattering and I'll have more confidence on my honeymoon.
So! Any suggestions on which stores to try? I will not buy something online - I need to try it on first.
Thanks ladies!!

hi ladies, so recently moving to vancouver, i have the "privildge" of living close to las vegas and getting cheap hotel packages. on that note, i am also getting sick of hearing my other engaged coworkers taking about their upcoming bachelorette in las vegas, especially since all my friends are in toronto and going to vegas is just a bit more taxing from toronto compared to vancouver.

since i am going to have my bachelorete party in toronto, i wanted to get as many ideas as i can. i do know that i would love to go dancing and get a hotel but apart from that what are other fun things to do except for going to a strip club, a spa or pole dancing lessons. it would be nice to have day and evening ideas. the bachelorette will be in early september

thanks!
