Anyway, one of my BM's used her for her own wedding dress and several BM dresses... she loved her (and said she is VERY reasonable).  Her number is 451-1140.
Also, I haven't heard anything bad about Something Old, Something New... I actually have a friend who got her wedding dress there (when she used to sell consignment dresses)... she also did all the alterations and Jackie (my friend) was very pelased.
Finally, Heart to Heart is wonderful!!!  Well worth the drive... the staff is so sweet.  I really wish I would have purchased my dress there.

My FSIL gave me her centerpieces and I want to find a way to make them my own, or at least somewhat different as shes my FSIL and there will be a lot of doubles between weddings. The pic below is what I have to work with (minus the mirror) and red petals. My florist ordered white roses in bulk and said I should have left over roses to use if I want them (she'll even set them up b/c shes great!) By "I should" i mean I will. FSIL used her as well and the rose petals on all her tables were her extra flowers just de-petaled. So...how can I make them my own?! Im working on this tomorrow (Wednesday). I also need to buy green ribbon and such to match my colors. Thoughts??

Im sorry, but you cant get irritated when 10 people ask what exercise helps to tone your abs and every response you get is "eat better". Ok. I eat well. I have the occational bad day and yes I prefer diet pepsi over water, but I eat whole wheat everything, skim milk, etc....I want to exercise and I want to know what helps my abs....stop telling me to eat better. Ugh. I feel like theyre all freakin robots. Id rather be fat that a dang robot!

1) Called the DJ to make sure they gt my deposit and to tell them what DJ I did NOT want.

2) The whole hair disaster. Ive decided Im going with my friend. And Im going to have her do my make-up too (that I trust her whole heartedly with)

3) Decided on my cake. Its a friends mom whose food Ive been eating since I was 14ish and I looove. I was thinkin she was a bit pricey but after researching, decided she's really not and I'd rather pay $100 more for her amazing cupcakes, and $100 less for someone who is good and generic chocolate/vanilla. So tomorrow morning I will stop by her shop and give her my deposit

4) Sent out my STD to my out of towners

5) Finished my wedding website! (if you'd like the link let me know and Ill PM it to you! I dont want to post it b/c it has my date, time location etc and I know there are some creepers here...


I havent made up my mind with chairs yet, but Im workin on it. Ive done the research, now I just need to call and make sure there are no hidden fees that Im missing. And make a decision. Ive been talking a bit with the girl whose wedding is after mine so we're gunna split the cost with is amaaaaaaaaaaaazing!

Now I just need to check off my everyday check list...shower, get dressed, etc. Haha. Maybe Ill workout first....

Any ideas?? I really reeeeeeeeeeeeally dont want to be spending alot and thats one of my biggest problems.

Ive got too much going on in my head. Maybe I should set up a time with my friend and have her try a few other hair styles? She did a really nice job on my hair for FSILs wedding (in the pic below) but she admitted to teaching herself that and convincing prom girls that they wanted that style...but maybe if I find one I want and have her practice that? Grrr.

I am not completely happy with how everything turned out.  I guess I thought that for $140 bucks (yes... for the trial... sick) I would leave there looking like a freaking rock star!!!  lol... but... eh... It was just sort of so-so.  I am not 100% sure that I will stick with the salon.  But the staff was great and I was super happy about the airbrush makeup though... stayed flawless allllll day.
Hair...

 When I put my veil on, it made some funky looking bubble on top of my head.  NOT cool.  As a matter of fact, so not cool that I opted not to take a picture.  Now I kind of wish I did so I could laugh at how ridiculous it was. 
Anyway... I think I will beg one of my friends to play around with my hair all day and hopefull we can come up with a style that works better with the veil.





Makeup... (please ignore the ridiculously lopsided lump of hair on top of my head.  Aparantly "volume" is a good thing to stylists)

 Ive decided I need to start reading now that Im on break and not required to...but I cant get into it right now.

I also decided I need to get on an exercize plan/healthy eating plan. Ive officially hit my highest weight ever and Im very unhappy with it. I dont mean to sound like a snotty brat (Ive gotten some pretty mean comments when I complain b/c I am little), but mom took me shopping for a nice interview suit today and I no longer fit in smalls and I was PIIIIIIIIISSED! When FI and I met I was 98lbs (mind you Im 5'0, so its on the low end of healthy) and now Im at 121. I have a million workout dvds and FI makes fun of me everytime I get a new one...but I havent found one that keeps me comin back yet. But Ive heard good stuff about Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred so Im thinkin Ill try that next.

Wondering if anyone has any feedback as hosts/guests for wedding ceremonies at Onondaga Park in Strathmore (NOT Onondaga Lake Park in Liverpool)?  

Did you have to deal with major restrictions or neighbors complaining about the ceremony?  I've heard they do not want people having receptions there due to neighbors complaining.  

Did you just have acoustic music, or a generator to amplify the music?  

I'm hoping to use the pavilion (which has wooden picnic tables around/under it) for light drinks prior to the ceremony to keep people hydrated and possibly sitting early on, as it will probably be a hot summer day... and kinddd of hoping I don't have to rent chairs (except for elderly/handicapped) for everyone if they just walk over to the gazebo for the 20 minute-ish ceremony.  (Is this just wishful thinking??)

On a side note. Josh and I went to FMILs house last night and FSIL tells me she doesnt think she can afford the dress.
