Venue Recs? Anyone get married at Arrowhead Golf Course?

My parents live in Littleton so I'd like to find something in that area or maybe in Boulder. I visited Arrowhead and liked what I saw: the outdoor ceremony space, plenty of room for my ~100 guests, easy drive for those not use to mountain driving, and priced within my range. Has anyone been married or involved in a wedding there? Any complaints? Or do you have any other favorite venues?

I'm looking for restaurants with private rooms or other unique venues to host a wedding reception. For the unique venues I would like the option of using my own caterer. Looking in the Denver metro area or within 15-20 minutes driving distance.

Hi!
I've been trying for a few weeks to come up with some fun dance songs and I'm completely blanking- I'm more into indie music, but most people at the wedding won't know any of it. I am sneaking in a few songs like the Faint, but probably should stick to music that everyone likes so any thoughts would be awesome, thanks!! No curse words as my little 12 y.o. brother will be there :)

I have some JT, Britney, Lady Gaga, A Ha, Prince, James Brown, Kool and the Gang (a la my fiance)...and... eek!

Hi ladies, our officiant is unfortunately being deployed to Iraq. Our wedding is less than 3 months away and I'm looking for someone to perform our ceremony. I found Lyssabeth's Wedding Officiants by doing a google search and thought I'd check if anyone here had used one of their officiants. Ok so i started with 6 BMs and we had the same number of GMs so everything was even, and now as we are getting close to the wedding and time to start ordering the dresses everyone is backing out. I have lost two so far. Ya i understand they are my out of town girls, but still. Now i'm stressing cuz I dont want to just add in girls that i'm not really close to just to make it even again, and i can not ask my Groom to ask his friends to drop out. Is this really something I need to stress over??? I need a vaca I think

I've lost a few pounds since I bought my dress and plan to lose a little more between now and when I go in to get my dress fitted in a month or so. Assuming the length is ok, how much on average do alterations cost? I realize there could be a big range, but I'd like opinions from other brides who have paid for theirs on how much I need to budget.

bouquet toss question

Our wedding is going to be pretty small, not many single people, so I don't want to embarrass anyone by doing a singles only bouquet or garter toss. Is it okay to include everyone in the toss or is that dumb? Also, I thought it was cute in the movie Made of Honor when she throws her bouquet at the ceremony, just out of the blue as they are leaving during the recessional. Nobody is expecting it so it isn't such a big deal. Does anyone else think this is a good idea? Thanks!

Affordable Estes Park venues?

I've gotten on the idea this weekend that Estes Park could be a great place for a wedding. There's so many resort type places there. But we're looking to try and keep it under $5,000. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about some great places there?

I think it would be especially cool to find a place everyone can stay on-site as well. I'm planning on Googling it, but figured there is probably at least one person out there who has experience first-hand :)

Decorating Venue

FH and I might have found our venue. It has a lot of what we want, the only thing I am concerned with is the walls in the reception area are very bare and has some lattice in some areas (which is completely not my style). It is a converted metal barn, which I am fine with, but I don't want it to look like a converted barn. Any ideas on how to fairly cheaply decorate it to hide the bare white walls (think HS cafeteria-ish) and lattice?

Where can I find a birdcage veil?

I'm having a really hard time finding a wedding shop that sells more than one really basic style of birdcage veils. I have almost no hair and long veils look horrible on me, but I want to try on a couple styles of birdcage veils to find the best look! Any ideas of where to go?

I have 2 months left and am left with a lot to do! We are getting married outside in Boulder and will not have access to electicity. I would like to find a guitarist/violinist or two to play for about 30 mins before the ceremony and during the ceremony. Does anyone know any affordable musicians I could contact? We are on a tight budget- about $100.

Final Dress Fitting

I went to my final dress fitting last night. All perfect and picked up now for my June 12th wedding. Just need to get the dress pressed now.

I want to thank the ladies that recommended Dee Dee and The Wedding Seamstress in Olde Town Arvada. She is amazing and really worked with me to change the things that I didn't like about my dress into something I really love now. Amazing prices to boot.

My mom's side of the family will be coming in, not just from out of state, but out of the country (from Canada),and have never been here before.
